at Old Town Theatre

We take the holidays seriously here at Old Town Theatre, and we are proud to announce our plans for Christmas 2019. For the second year, we will present three great opportunities (six performances) for you and your family to get down to the downtown square, have a cup of hot cocoa and enjoy some wonderful entertainment. Join us now as a volunteer or a member of the Christmas Troupe to participate in this year's planning! 

Christmas Open House

It all starts the first Saturday in December with our Christmas Open House at Old Town Theatre.  Huntsville Main Street will be sponsoring the downtown festivities this year with the 2019 Christmas Fair. Christmas caroling, cookies and drinks, a children's play area, great shopping with street vendors and MORE!

​Drop in between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., have a cookie and a drink with us, and catch up on all the great Christmas entertainment scheduled this year at Old Town.

A Christmas Carol 

The second weekend in December,  back by popular demand, A Christmas Carol on the Old Town Theatre stage will delight and touch you, and leave you with a smile on your face and Christmas Spirit in your heart!  If you would like to join The Company @ Old Town or Rising Stars or help with one of the Christmas Carol Committees, follow the links below to join us. 

The Classic Swing Band Christmas

Want to add a little swing to your Christmas holidays? Our friends and Texas natives Tom Lepper and Randy Wills will be at Old Town Theatre for a Swinging Swing Band Christmas on December 20! Mark your calendars now to join us for the best Christmas concert ever at Old Town Theatre! Senior tickets available at discounted prices. 

Michael Martin Murphey

Michael Martin Murphey is back for his second year at Old Town Theatre, and his year he is gracing us with TWO fantastic performances on Saturday, December 21. Michael's gorgeous voice and  amazing Cowboy Christmas songs will leave you breathless and reveling in the simple beauty of the holiday season.

Tickets will go on sale at discounted prices in July,  so plan to buy your tickets early, or join our email list for access to first pick on tickets! 

Early ticket sales for A Christmas Carol and The Classic Swing Band Christmas will open with our "Christmas in July Box Office" on July 1, 2019.

Tickets will be deeply discounted for our email customers throughout the month of July, and Early Bird Prices will be in effect until November 15, so now is a great time to make your plans and get the best seats​ for these amazing holiday shows!
